Day by day
Travel to Gaiole in Chianti and settle into your confirmed accommodation. Keep the evening unhurried, with time to enjoy the setting and choose a local dinner. Check-in time and room category confirmed by the property. Airport or station transfers and dinner can be quoted separately.
Begin with a requested guided truffle hunt with a local hunter and trained dog. In the afternoon, return to Castello di Meleto for a wine tasting. Truffle activity: local guide, location, duration and start time to be confirmed. Outdoor access depends on weather and conditions; finding truffles cannot be guaranteed. Wear sturdy footwear and suitable autumn clothing. Requested tasting: Chianti Classico Annata, Riserva and Gran Selezione, with olive-oil bruschetta, based on the current official tasting format. The 2027 wine selection, schedule and dietary alternatives require confirmation. Lunch is not included in the proposed activities; a separate lunch or truffle menu can be requested.
Enjoy an unscheduled day. Ask our team about a visit to nearby villages or a private driver rather than committing to an overly full itinerary. Optional excursions, guides, transport and meals are additional and require a separate quotation.
